Why Equity Solar

Equity Solar is a social enterprise established to ensure that those in our community currently without access to rooftop solar are not left behind in the renewable energy transition.

We are here to enable renewable energy for all including those who are renting, living in apartments and running small businesses. We work collaboratively with our network of home and business electrification experts, solar installers, electricity retailers, community energy groups and impact investors to make affordable energy a reality for all.

A key difference, between us and the many other solar companies in the market is that we focus on the outcome and making sure our customers are seeing bill reduction in the long run. We do this by providing post installation support such as performance and bill monitoring and regular follow-ups with our customers. We don’t just install and walk away, we provide on-going energy consultancy/literacy and build long term mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.
